Mall Day (continued)

This morning Elyse was taking her 8 yr pictures. After she was done and we'd gotton her pictures we went to Boarders. Then we went to the mall to make a bear at build-a-bear. Elyse made a little weiner dog and I made a bear for my aunt Alison. It was a coconut bear so I named it Bon Bon.(BTW my aunt LOVES bon bons) After that we had lunch at Chevys. Then we went backpack shopping. I picked out a white backpack with LOTS of pockets and compartments, and Elyse chose a purple plad messenger bag. Then we went to the Apple Store and I taught mom how to play Cut the rope on her itouch. And I used the BIGGEST computer I had ever seen!!!!!!

Heber day 5

The day before we went to Fools Hollow Lake but forgot our swimsuits. So today we were going back to the Lake. (with our swimsuits) So when we got there we rented a canoe. After about 45 minutes we docked on a rock. We all jumped in the water and it felt GREAT. It was nice and cool. I wanted to swim the across the lake. But I was a little scared.Mom and dad said that they would canoe across with me. Elyse wanted to swim with me. About a quarter of they way over she was to tired. So she hopped into the canoe. After awhile we docked in between two rocks. Elyse and I were jumping off the rocks when two girls came and asked if we would share our rock. We said yes. They were from Show Low. They were pretty impressed by my diving. Then we saw lightning and decided that being in an aluminum canoe in the middle of the lake wasn't a good idea. Then we had a picnic and went back to the cabin.

Heber day 4

The next day dad had to go to a store to get new tires. Instead Mom,Elyse and I went to Fools Hollow Lake. There they have a Junior Ranger program. And if you complete it you get a badge and a bag of stuff. While we were there we met this family. They were swimming in the lake. Unfortunately we had forgotten our swimsuits. We were pretty disappointed. Plus there was canoe rentals. So we were going to come back tomorrow. The worst part about becoming a Junior Ranger is that you have to take an oath.:-( It was kinda embarrassing:-( So the next day we were going to come back with our swimsuits and we were going to rent a canoe.

Heber day 3

A few days ago when we went to Bison Town someone showed us Geo caching. Geo caching is where you are given a device similar to a GPS, for instance it tells you to go 700ft to your left, the prizes are generally in a coffee can or an amo box. When you take a prize you give a prize. We were plowing through them. The next one was cache #7. We were driving on a dirt road when all the sudden we heard this pfft......pfft......pfft. So we stopped and discovered that there was a hole in tire. So dad called AAA (Triple A) and the guy said that it would be about 2-3 hrs till someone could come and replace it. Then there was this whole conversation about what bolts the tire had and blah blah blah. So mom and I went for a walk. All we saw were cows,trees and the cow's water trough's! So when we got back the guy still hadn't been there to change the tire. So after about 30

mins. of mom and I being back AAA got there. We were all very happy. So then we headed back to our cabin.

Heber day 2

The next day we got to go horseback riding.(it had been a secret to Elyse and and until the night before) Last year we went horse riding also. We were going to Cherry Creek Lodge. And we were going to ride for about 4 hrs. When we got there we went inside the lodge because we all had to go to the bathroom. Cherry Creek Lodge is also a hotel. The cook there had just finished making cookies and was taking them out of the oven and offered us one. Naturally we said yes. (even though it was 7:30 in the morning!!!) Then we went out to the stables and were assigned our horses. My horse's name was Cowboy mom's was Trigger(that kinda freaked her out.) Elyse's was named Doc and Dad couldn't remember the name of his. Overall it was a lot of fun. After the ride we had lunch in the lodge. We had packed our own. Then Elyse and I went swimming the lake.

Heber: day 1

I'm aware that this post is a little late, but better late than never right?:-)

Anyways the first day we were in Heber we went to Bison Town. While we were there we toured all the stores that were there. There is a hotel in Bison Town so we went to ask if we could tour it. It was fairly big. That morning we had packed a picnic. Once we were done touring the place we went to find a park to have our picnic at. Once we were done we went back to Bison town and had ice cream. It was VERY good.

Fish

One day I saw a commercial for 1$ tropical fish. The next day we went to Petsmart to get one. They tropical fish needed big tanks so we decided to get betta fish instead. I decided on an orange one Elyse chose a blue one. We wanted to get a bowl for each of them. But we didn't have enough money. So instead we are going to get a bowl one Saturday on half price day at Goodwill. Elyse named her fish Wiggles and I named my fish Copper.
