Bikes

A few weeks ago Elyse and I learned to ride bikes. Now I know what your thinking ,"They don't know how to ride bikes?!" Yes, but I have a reason, when I was younger I was riding my bike and my mom pushed me into cactus while I was riding. When I got home I had a few scrapes. But I was to scared to get back on. So I never learned haw to ride a bike. I don't know why Elyse never learned but that's not important.

As soon as we had learned we had wanted bikes. So we decided to spend our Christmas money instead. So yesterday we went to Walmart and bought bikes and helmets. Once we got home we set up our helmets and started riding. We learned how to ride on our neighbors bike which is like a 20-22 inch bike. But our mom said that we had to get 24-26 inch. So Elyse got a light green 24 inch mountain bike. I got a light blue 26 inch mountain bike. We rode them down our street for at least 2 hours! Today we invited our friend over and we rode for awhile. And this morning my mom Elyse and I went for a walk/bike ride.

Thanksgiving

On Thanksgiving morning we all help set up for it. This year dad went to yoga while us girls set up. I won't go through all the details because you would stop reading. So anyways when we were done I was happy. We still had about 2 hours till people started coming, so I put on the Macy's Day Parade.

When people stated to arrive I was starving! Finally at 2:00 we got our food and ate. Afterward we watched football. Then we started our craft. ( Every year at Christmas and Thanksgiving we do a craft. Last year we made shirts and last year at Christmas we made potholders or things to hang on the wall.) We made rugs out of old t-shirts. Then later everybody went home.
